How long do eyelash extensions last?
With proper aftercare, your eyelash extensions will shed along with your natural eyelashes. Naturally, we lose 3-5 eyelashes a day from each eye, so you can expect the eyelash extensions to shed at a similar rate. If aftercare is not followed you can expect to see more eyelash extensions being lost.
Taking all this into account, on average they can last anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks before you will need a full set again.
If you would like to maintain them we recommend booking infills every 2–3 weeks when you would have approximately 50% left to keep them looking full and fresh.
Will eyelash extensions damage my natural lashes?
Not at all—when applied correctly and cared for properly, lash extensions won’t harm your natural lashes.

What if I have a reaction?
At LEXS LOUNGE, we take every precaution to ensure a safe reaction free service.
Prior to your first appointment you will be emailed a digital consultation form with a few questions so we can ensure your suitability for eyelash extensions.
If you are still unsure we do offer free patch tests!
Reactions are rare, but if you experience any swelling or discomfort, please contact us immediately.
What happens in a patch test?
During a patch test we will cleanse and prep the eye area with all the equiptment that we would use during your 'Full Set' appointment. Following, we will begin to apply 5-10 eyelash extensions to each eye (Don't worry! We will use short eyelash extensions so it is not noticable!)
A reaction will not occur imiditaly, however usually it happens within 24 hours.

Is the lash cleanser safe to use on sensitive skin or around the eyes?
Absolutley! We stock only the highest quality products.
Prolong Lash Cleanser is pH balanced to ensure whilst it is throughly removing dirt and debris from the eye area, it is also gentle enough to not disturb the delicate skin around the eye area.
Along with this it has also been ophthalmologist tested and approved.
Will these products actually help my lashes or brows grow?
Yes! The growth serum we stock - Lash Box LA - has been a game changer for many of our clients! Not only does it support healthier, stronger lashes but it is packed with nourishing ingredients that promote natural growth. You can expect to see a difference in as little as 4 weeks, however optimum growth can be seen at 6-8 weeks.
This product is also eyelash extension safe and has allowed many of our clients to go longer between their infill appointments.
